PURE GOLDENS - Max and Mya

Meet "Lady Mya of Blinn Trinity" and "Sir Maxwell of Blinn Trinity"

Max and Mya are both double-championship bloodline golden retrievers. They have just had their last litter together...

We are not big fancy breeders. We are a family of 6 who are crazy about our Goldens. Goldens are very photogenic, and since we are also hobby photographers you will see a lot of pictures here.

New Litter - Five Weeks

The new litter is now five weeks old and is growing faster than we can update the blog. At present we are planning to keep a puppy and sell the other seven. We have four males and four females. The first picture is the father, Max. He is a beautiful two and a half old. He is a very smart dog. My photo session with the dogs got cut short by a thunderstorm so all I have now is photos of Max and three of the females.

This is a light-golden female. She weighs about five pounds right now. She was dewormed this week and receives her first distemper shot in a couple of days along with the other pups.

This pup is supposed to be wearing a blue collar but I found it in the bathroom. Probably one of the girls took it off or it may have been too loose. She is also light-golden and is about 5 1/2 pounds.

This little girl wears a red collar. She is even lighter golden than the other two females. She loves to lay on her back and have her belly rubbed. This is one way of testing a dogs personality. It suggests a laid back, easy-going personality. In our case, Mya, the mother is like this. She never goes far away from where we are. We live on just less than an acre lot where there is plenty of room for them to play. Mya always stays close to the house unless I go across the yard or across the street to our several acre lot. There is a small stream across the road and they love to play in the water. Mya will even follow me down a river while I canoe or kayak. Max, not so much. He doesn't like to get in over his head. Oh, I did find a picture of Mya.
